Guadalajara's airport is ~17-20 km from the Centro Historico. Uber, DiDi and InDrive all work here (unlike Cancun/Los Cabos), but app-based vehicles do not pick up at the terminal curb. Go to the Shuttles area in International Arrivals and look for the shuttle marked C-01 Plataformas - the free electric shuttle runs at roughly five-minute intervals to the dedicated platform-vehicle pickup area, which operates 24 hours a day. The safe no-app option is the authorized airport taxi: buy a fixed-price voucher at the ATASA/ATTA booth inside arrivals (white cars with a green/orange stripe - ignore the white/yellow city cabs in drop-off, and any driver who approaches you inside). The Ruta 300 bus is the budget option.

Local Tips
