Henri Coandă Airport is at Otopeni, about 17 km north of Bucharest. The airport train runs to Gara de Nord every 40 minutes, taking about 20 minutes. Express bus 100 runs to central Bucharest. Since 19 August 2026, works on the Arrivals car park mean the taxi rank and the Uber/Bolt pickup area are in front of the Departures terminal, and buses 100 and 442 stop only at the Departures stop. The works are expected to last until early 2027.
